Carrickfergus Grammar Choir Somme Centenary
The Choir of Carrickfergus Grammar School, County Antrim, performing a tribute to the fallen at The Somme, February 2016. The choir toured Paris and the Somme region where they gave recitals in Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris; La Madeleine, Paris; American Cathedral, Paris; Notre Dame Cathedral, Amiens; Theipval Memorial and the Ulster Tower. The music to the words "They Shall Grow Now Old" was composed by Edward Craig, director of the choir, and the arrangement of "Be Thou My Vision" was made by John Anderson. The organ accompaniment is by Stephen Hamill.
